House painting in Northwest Indiana
Interior rooms, whole-house repaints, trim, ceilings and exterior siding. The prep is the job — bad prep is why paint fails in two years instead of ten.
What the job includes
- Wash, scrape and sand surfaces before anything is opened
- Fill, caulk and spot-prime patches so they do not flash through the finish
- Mask and protect floors, fixtures and landscaping
- Two finish coats unless the colour change calls for more
- Trim, doors, casing and baseboard cut in by hand
- Exterior work sequenced around the weather, not against it
Signs you need this
- Paint is chalking, peeling or blistering on the sunny side of the house
- Caulk lines have opened up around windows and trim
- You can see roller lines, patches or old colour through the current coat
- You are selling and the interior reads dated rather than damaged
How the work runs
You describe the job
Address, what needs doing, and when you would like it. No phone tag to get a person to come and look, and no account to create first — that happens when you submit.
You get a written quote
An itemised document, not a number over the phone. You read it, and you sign it online if you want it. Nothing starts before that signature.
You watch it happen
Each stage of the work is marked off and photographed by the crew as they go. You can see where the job actually is without asking anybody.
You keep the record
Materials, warranties, permits, photographs and cost stay attached to your property permanently — so the next owner, or your insurer, can see exactly what was done.
We work with a vetted network of licensed, insured contractors across Northwest Indiana.
Common questions
How long does a whole-house interior repaint take?
For an average Northwest Indiana home, plan on three to five working days for walls, ceilings and trim, with the first day mostly prep and masking. Occupied houses take longer because we work room by room so you always have somewhere to be.
Can you paint outside in an Indiana winter?
Not reliably. Most exterior coatings need surface temperatures above roughly fifty degrees and a dry window either side of application, which in this region means roughly April through October. We will quote exterior work in winter and schedule it for spring rather than apply it badly.
Do you move furniture, or should I?
We move what two people can carry and centre it under protection. Anything fragile, heavy or irreplaceable is worth handling yourself before we arrive — that is the one part of the job nobody wants a stranger doing.
Will you match a colour I already have?
Yes. If you still have the can or a leftover chip we match from that. If not, we can take a sample from an inconspicuous area and match it, though an exact match on a coating that has aged in sunlight is never guaranteed.
