Siding repair and replacement in Northwest Indiana
Cracked, faded, loose or storm-damaged siding, in vinyl, fibre cement, wood or aluminium. What sits behind the siding matters more than the siding does.
What the job includes
- Pull affected sections and inspect the sheathing and wrap behind them
- Replace damaged house wrap so the wall drains and dries properly
- Repair or replace siding, matching profile and colour where possible
- Re-flash windows, doors and penetrations while the wall is open
- Trim board and corner detail finished to shed water
- Full-wall replacement where matching an obsolete profile is not honest
Signs you need this
- Panels loose, rattling or blown off after a storm
- Cracked, chalky or brittle vinyl that snaps when flexed
- Soft or dark sheathing visible where a panel is missing
- Wasp or bird access behind a lifted section
How the work runs
You describe the job
Address, what needs doing, and when you would like it. No phone tag to get a person to come and look, and no account to create first — that happens when you submit.
You get a written quote
An itemised document, not a number over the phone. You read it, and you sign it online if you want it. Nothing starts before that signature.
You watch it happen
Each stage of the work is marked off and photographed by the crew as they go. You can see where the job actually is without asking anybody.
You keep the record
Materials, warranties, permits, photographs and cost stay attached to your property permanently — so the next owner, or your insurer, can see exactly what was done.
We work with a vetted network of licensed, insured contractors across Northwest Indiana.
Common questions
Can you match siding on a house that is twenty years old?
Sometimes. Profiles get discontinued and colours fade unevenly by elevation, so an exact match is genuinely hard. Where we cannot match it, the honest options are replacing a full elevation so the transition falls on a corner, or sourcing salvage. We will show you both rather than install something that reads as a patch.
Why does the wrap behind the siding matter?
Because siding is a rain screen, not a seal — water gets behind it by design and the wrap and flashing are what move that water back out. Replacing panels over torn wrap looks finished and keeps rotting the sheathing underneath, which is why we open it up and look.
Do you do soffit and fascia at the same time?
Yes, and it is usually the right call. The scaffolding or lift is already there and the details tie together at the roof edge, so doing them in one visit costs less than two mobilisations and produces a better water detail at the joint.
